Crazed Duck Chases Dad Around Loch
Crazed Duck Chases Dad Around Loch – It’s no surprise that when Aaron, from Kirkcaldy, took his son Thomas fishing for the first time recently, he captured it on video. But what happened next was far from expected! As Aaron celebrated his son’s catch with a proud dad ‘high five’, an unexpected visitor flew in – a wild waterfowl.
The bird grabbed onto Aaron’s hand and refused to let go as the entire scene unfolded before their eyes in sheer hilarity. With Catherine recording the whole incident and Thomas shouting: “Daddy!” Aaron had no choice but to bolt away in another direction.
Their hilarious video has since gone viral with over 8 million views in under 24 hours.

When asked about the incident, Aaron couldn’t help but laugh: “It was certainly eventful. I had just taken the little one fishing for the first time and at the point when the video was being taken I had just caught a fish. We were recording to show Thomas’ first catch and he was warning me that the duck was coming but I had no idea – and then it grabbed my hand. I was stuck in two minds about what to do. People were surrounding me watching and I didn’t want to kick it, so I just kept running.”
Catherine posted their funny encounter online for friends and family to enjoy, but they never anticipated it would become such a hit! Aaron expressed his surprise at how quickly their video went viral: “I’ve had so many people contact me – it’s crazy. It’s had millions of views now. It’s nuts. It’s been good though, it’s a good laugh.” This is yet another example of how an unexpected moment can make for an unforgettable memory – and one that you can share with the world!
This amusing tale serves as a reminder to all parents out there to enjoy every moment with your little ones, because you never know what kind of funny escapades you’ll find yourselves in! So take lots of pictures and videos, and don’t forget to post them online – who knows, you might just end up going viral too!
