Back in May 1919, Traprain Law in East Lothian made headlines far and wide when archaeologists excavating earthworks around the hillside discovered a 5th century pit containing an incredible hoard of buried silver vessels, coins and other objects dating from the last days of the Roman Empire.


Where Is Arthur’s Seat?

Arthur’s Seat is one of four hill forts situated within Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Scotland. These forts  date from around 2,000 years ago.
