The Best Place In Scotland To See The Splendour Of Autumn

Our Love Scotland members have voted Edinburgh Castle as the best place in Scotland to experience autumn.

The Isle of Skey and Loch Lomond came in 2nd and 3rd respectively in the tight vote.

See all the results here.

Why is Edinburgh Castle so famous?

Edinburgh Castle boasts as one of the oldest fortified places in Europe. It has a rich history functioning as a royal residence, military garrison, prison and fortress. With it’s rich history comes many exciting tales.

You are able to walk in the footsteps of soldiers, kings, queens and possibly some pirates when you endeavour to climb the steps of castle hill.
